About Kikkoman

Kikkoman is one of the world’s oldest food companies and is largely recognized as the world’s leading soy sauce brand. Although Kikkoman’s story began in Japan in the mid-1600s, its North American presence was established in 1957 and two production facilities are in operation today in Wisconsin and California. In addition to its globally renowned soy sauce, Kikkoman manufactures a wide variety of sauces, condiments, breadcrumbs, seasonings, and more.

Kikkoman’s commitment to following the traditional, time-honored soy sauce brewing process also carries a commitment to sustainability and responsibility. The soybeans and wheat used to brew the soy sauce are sustainably sourced and grown in North America, and Kikkoman recycles and repurposes the waste streams from its production process. Additionally, Kikkoman has committed to a 30% decrease in CO2 emissions by 2030. By joining the Farm Powered Strategic Alliance, Kikkoman continues to honor its sustainability commitments while collaborating with our other like-minded members.
